In reply to Paul. Based on the past event experience, they cannot control the Angkor Wat Complex due to the number of people coming. Therefore, they focus only on the temple itself. So yes, it should be free. Please let us know if this is not the case.

Are you absolutely sure entry is free? I’m hearing conflicting reports that a temple pass is required for foreigners even if you only want to enjoy the Sankranta events.

Hey, trying to confirm this – can you enter the temple grounds for free during this event? I don’t plan on going inside the temples themselves, just attending the events around them.
