All products sold at the Fair Trade Village are certified by the Angkor Handicraft Association, which guarantees their authenticity.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the experience, observing artisans in action as they demonstrate their techniques and share the stories behind their creations.

Beyond its remarkable selection of handicrafts, the Fair Trade Village also contributes to community development. By supporting local artisans and providing them with fair wages and working conditions, the Fair Trade Village contributes to sustainable economic growth and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship. Shopping at the Fair Trade Village not only allows visitors to acquire meaningful souvenirs, but it also helps empower the local community, fostering a sense of pride and cultural continuity.

Garden of Desire

Experience the quiet poetry of nature, the intricate iconography of Angkor temples, and the bold geometry of structural forms with the jewellery creations of Garden of Desire.

When Cambodian-French designer Ly Pisith returned to his birth country, Cambodia, after four decades abroad, he was struck by the beauty of its forests and ancient temples, as well as the luminous sheen of its traditional silverware. Pisith decided to combine all three with his contemporary design sensibilities, and founded Garden of Desire in 2008, expressing his interpretations of nature and his explorations of sculptural forms in silver.

Handcrafted at Garden of Desire’s Cambodian workshop by artisans, the creations are created in 955 fine silver, 925 sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Striking, contemporary and tactile, each piece is a work of wearable art, a story encapsulated in silver.
